DAYTIME HOURS ONLY — 7:30am to 5:30pm

Café Dolce is seeking a mature, highly experienced Supervisor to support the daily running of our busy daytime café.

Due to the level of responsibility, this position is not suitable for university students.

We require someone with strong leadership experience,

ideally having managed teams of 12+ staff in the absence of a manager.

We are looking for a confident professional with excellent work ethics,

a calm presence, and the ability to set high standards for the team.

Proven experience supervising or leading a large team

Strong leadership and communication skills

Immaculate presentation and a passion for quality food and beverage service

Ability to maintain high standards in all areas of café and restaurant operations

Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others

A hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude

Oversee day-to-day café operations

Lead and support staff across floor and kitchen stations as needed

Meet, greet, and serve customers to a high standard

Serve coffee and beverages professionally

with dessert and drink preparation

Handle ordering, stock control, cashing-up, and petty cash

Maintain hygiene, health & safety, and quality control standards

Support recruitment, training, and staff development

Work closely with management to improve operations and drive the business forward
